DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Keene State College Music Department Faculty &
  Guest Recital Series featuring CONCORA\, Connecticut's acclaimed\nprofess
 ional 24-voice choir and 12-piece chamber orchestra under the direction of
  Chris Shepard\, joined by the Keene State’s Concert Choir\, directed by
  Sandra Howard with community choir singers from the Monadnock region.\nTh
 e performance will feature the New Hampshire premiere of Geoffrey Hudson's
  "A Passion for the Planet". At a time when the daily news can feel overwh
 elming\, Hudson's sweeping oratorio offers something different: a vision o
 f collective possibility. Blending scientific prose\, poetry\, and sacred 
 texts\, A Passion for the Planet gives voice to those who are already doin
 g the difficult work of protecting watersheds\, restoring ecosystems\, pre
 serving habitats\, educating communities\, advocating for change\, and bui
