Keene-Einbeck Choral Exchange Concert

Keene, New Hampshire – The ongoing partnership between Keene and its partner city of Einbeck, Germany continues to enrich both communities. We are pleased to announce an Einbeck delegation of musicians will travel to Keene from October 13-20, 2025 to participate in an international choral-cultural exchange. The delegation will include 29 visitors and feature Einbeck’s VOICES choir under the direction of Annett Steinberg.

The Einbeck musicians will present an international choral collaboration performance on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 5:00pm in the Redfern Arts Center Main Theatre. Other featured choirs will include the Greater Keene Pops Choir directed by Jennifer Arrow Garretson, and The Chamber Singers of Keene and Keene State College Concert Choir directed by Morgan Bothwell. The performance will culminate in all choirs singing together directed by Sandra Howard.

The October 2025 visit to Keene will be the seventh music exchange between the two partner cities. The Chamber Singers of Keene visited Einbeck (2012); VOICES visited Keene (2013); KSC Chamber Singers visited Einbeck (2017); Kantorei visited Keene (2019); Choir of St. Nicolai visited Keene (2023), KSC Concert Choir visited Einbeck (2023).

Events throughout the 8-day choral-cultural exchange are supported by community members and generous contributions from the James D. Ewing Endowment and The Kingsbury Fund.
