The Fiction of Warning: Genocide and Dystopia with Agustina Bazterrica

Join renowned Argentinian author Agustina Bazterrica for a discussion on her work and its powerful critique of human atrocities. Topics will include enduring problems of mass violence, misogyny, and the normalization of cruelty.

This event is free and open to all. It is a fully in-person offering. Advanced registration is not required; seating is on a first come, first served basis.

A limited number of complimentary books will be available at the event! Book signing and light refreshments to follow discussion.

This event is funded by the Vincent Russell Visiting Scholar Fund granted this year to the Modern Languages and Cultures Department. It is also supported by the departments of Film, Environmental and Sustainability Studies, History, and the Cohen Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
