Vocal Consort & Chamber Singers

Keene Vocal Consort is a small, auditioned vocal ensemble dedicated to medieval, renaissance, and baroque repertoire. Emphasis is placed on individual preparation, leadership, and historical performance practice. KVC has enjoyed several exciting projects recently, including a collaboration with the Ewing Arts Award-winning Chamber Singers of Keene, mounting a staged production of Purcell’s The Fairy Queen with KSC Opera and Boston-based ensemble Seven Times Salt, and presenting a service of Lessons and Carols with Saint Bernard Church on Main Street.

Chamber Singers is an auditioned ensemble open to all KSC students who strive for excellence in varied styles of choral music. This ensemble is comprised of treble voices (SSAA) and regularly collaborates with KSC choirs, New England area high schools, and KANTOREI of Einbeck, Germany for an ongoing international choral-cultural exchange. The Singers performed in Montreal earlier this semester.

Price: $15 General Public / $10 Senior Citizens & Youth/ Free for KSC Students, Faculty & Staff
