Summer Employment Opportunities
The Keene State College Upward Bound Programs are year-long college preparatory programs for first generation and/or low-income high school students from 12 target high schools in New Hampshire and Vermont. The summer session is designed to expose students to a college-like experience that supports the positive academic, emotional, and personal development of our students in preparation for success in high school, college, and beyond. The summer provides participants with the experiences of living on a college campus, taking academic courses, and engaging in co-curricular activities.

Summer 2026 Employment Dates: June 22nd - August 14th
TRIO Mentor - The role of TRIO Tutor-Mentor is vital in ensuring inclusive learning environments that allow each learner to reach their full potential, supporting self-directed individual and collaborative learning, and leveraging resources that contribute to student growth, development, and well-being. This is a residential position.
Summer Program Teacher - The academic program is of foundation for the Upward Bound Programs summer session. Teachers are responsible for developing and implementing engaging curriculum that provides pathways to success for heterogeneous groups of students. Through the use of comprehensive learning objectives, teachers provide frequent feedback during the summer that is designed to motivate students’ confidence and engagement. This is a non-residential position.
