Professor Jahos has more than 30 years of teaching experience in the public school systems of New York and New Hampshire.  Her focus has been on building sequential Orff-Schulwerk programs, establishing choral education as a regular part of the elementary school music curriculum, creating interdisciplinary enrichment experiences, music curriculum revision, and advocating for comprehensive music education programs.
