Noah Ives
Noah Ives teaches studio and technology courses with a focus on sustainable, site specific design and creative exploration of local building systems and materials. He encourages students to follow their passions in every project and to develop a personal language of visual communication. Noah Holds a BA in English Literature and Classics from McGill University, an MS in Population Health Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an M.Arch from Cornell University.
Noah's personal research and design practice, the Building Wellness Lab, studies the interaction between the built and natural environments. Projects range in scale from pop-up spaces to a major cultural center in Uganda.
Prior to joining Keene State College, Noah taught at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and worked for the offices of Coop Himmelb(l)au in Vienna and Jacobs Engineering in Portland, Oregon and Tel Aviv.
