Paul Hennigan

Paul Hennigan received his Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of New Hampshire and brings his passion for teaching and research to Keene State as an Assistant Professor. He is particularly fond of teaching Psychological Statistics, Social Psychology, and Research Methods and uses a visual approach with real-life examples to help students understand complex topics and apply them in their everyday life.
Paul is always looking for passionate undergraduates to join the Moral and Legal Psychology Lab where he conducts research on all things related to moral psychology and the legal system such as antisocial behavior, empathy, rule-breaking, cooperation, and attitudes towards the law. He has previously published research on prosocial rule-breaking, legal socialization, impulsivity, and adolescent delinquency and is excited to give lab members an opportunity to publish their own research with his guidance.
When Paul is not working, he is likely watching true crime, performing in metal bands, or reading cosmic horror novels.
