RECREATION CENTER - HOURS OF OPERATION

Summer Facility Hours

• Monday-Friday: 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: closed
• Pool is not open during the summer due to a lack of lifeguards.

Maintenance Work in Recreation Center

• Annual wood floor refinishing will take place August 3-14. Areas with wood floors will be closed during this period. There will be a strong odor from the poly-urethane the first few days of the work. Please be aware as it may impact anyone with breathing or respiratory issues.

• There will be a campus wide steam plant shutdown August 9-19. There will be no hot water or heat in the Recreation Center.

Academic Year

Facility Hours - (All areas except Pool) - begin Monday, August 31

• Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
• Friday: 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

Pool Hours - (subject to change) - begin Tuesday, September 8

• Monday-Friday: noon-1 p.m.
• Monday-Wednesday: 7:30-9 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: noon-2 p.m.

Recreation Center/Spaulding Gymnasium - Facility Use Guidelines

In order to protect the health and well-being of the KSC community, please be aware of the following steps the Campus Recreation & Fitness department has implemented:

• KSC Owl card required of all students and employee members.

• If you are sick, and do not feel well, stay home.

• Wipe down facility equipment before and after use.

• Check-out equipment or shared fitness equipment is available; but students should bring own basketballs or yoga mats if possible.

• Wash hands before, during and after workouts, hand sanitize as needed

• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when need to sneeze or cough; dispose of the tissue; wash your face/hands before touching any equipment or returning to your activity.

• Store belongings in a cubby locker or leave at home.

• Please bring your own reusable water bottle.

ID and Membership Cards

Owl ID Cards or Membership Cards must be presented to the front desk staff each visit and pool passes or membership cards to the lifeguards each visit to the pool.

The Keene State College Recreation Center and Pool are open to KSC full-time and part-time students and Recreation Center membership holders (faculty, staff, and Continuing Education students) and to restricted membership holders with the Walking Track/Group Fitness or the Pool memberships. Individuals can sign up for a membership at the front desk of the Recreation Center.
