Community Living Forms

As a reminder, in order for a student to live off campus they need to earn a minimum of 60 credits prior to the start of an academic year. We strongly encourage students NOT to sign a lease unless they are certain they will meet the 60 credit requirement. Community Living will not grant an exception for a student that signs a lease if they are under 60 credits. If they are over 60 credits, they can log into the housing portal, click on the housing application for the next academic year, and then click on the request an exemption.

Students that wish to be a commuter (they live at home with a legal parent/guardian that is within 30 miles of campus) can fill out a request for exemption. (this is not for students looking to live off campus in an apartment)

Our housing contract is for a full academic year, we do not approve requests to be released (for off campus or commuter) once the academic year has begun.

Students can now locate any housing forms in the Star Rez Housing Portal. Students are encouraged to bookmark the Portal and can access their housing applications, requests for exemption, booking information, move-in times(once released) etc.
